Often called "the most successful love singer of the "Rock Era", the versatile Bobby Vinton is coming to the Colosseum on Friday, September 24th at 9 PM. He has established himself as one of America's top performers with a string of classic hits like "Roses are Red", "My Melody of Love" and "Blue Velvet" and many more.

Celebrate Seniors with Tri-County Senior Day!!

 Great Lakes Health Plan, a UnitedHealth Group Company, AM 580 and the Detroit Zoo invite seniors who live in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties to enjoy a special day at the Zoo on Tri-County Senior Day! 

 It’s on Wednesday, September 8th from 10 AM to 3 PM.  Seniors 62 and older and a caregiver will receive free Zoo admission, parking and rides on the Tauber Family Railroad. Seniors are invited to stop by the Senior Resource Area and visit with vendors.  There will also be a special Senior bingo bame, narrated tractor train tours around the Zoo and live entertainment in the Main Picnic Grove.   Visit www.detroitzoo.org for more information.

It's America's largest free Jazz Festival and it takes place from Campus Martius Park to Hart Plaza on the riverfront on Labor Day Weekend (September 3rd - 6th).  This year's line-up features world-renowned pianist Mulgrew Miller, trumpeter/composer Terence Blanchard, saxophonist Branford Marsalis along with a host of other leading national artists, emerging artists, Detroit-based artists and outstanding student ensembles.

The fall breeze will bring the 45th annual Art & Apples Festival back to downtown Rochester’s beautiful 30-acre Rochester Park, September 10th through 12th.

Art & Apples is Michigan’s second largest juried fine arts fair attracting more than 110,000 people each fall.  Experience a variety of fine art from over 270 exhibiting artists from across the nation.  Check out the free kids art activities, non-stop entertainment from local and national acts and delicious food including cider and homemade apple pie!  Shuttle service is available from Rochester High School on Saturday and Sunday.
